Use your school Google account, the same one you use for Google Classroom and Gmail. Click "Sign in with Google" at the top of this page.

Once you land on your dashboard, bookmark the URL or add it to your phone's home screen. That link is yours for the whole school year.

Check in after each paper

Scores and teacher feedback appear within 24 hours of grading. Use the dashboard to read comments and watch your growth over time.

How do I access my dashboard? ▾

Sign in with your school Google account using the button at the top of the page. The site matches your login to your class roster and opens your personal dashboard.

What is an FCA (Focus Correction Area)? ▾

FCAs are the specific writing skills flagged on each paper, like thesis clarity or transitions. Your dashboard tracks which FCAs keep recurring and which you've absorbed.

How often does my dashboard update? ▾

Scores and feedback appear within 24 hours of your teacher submitting grades. You'll see a "last updated" timestamp at the top of your dashboard.

Is the Composition Wiki available in other languages? ▾

Yes. The wiki is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and the language buttons on each article let you switch instantly.

Who do I contact if my dashboard won't load? ▾

First try refreshing. If that doesn't fix it, let your teacher know or email Mr. Cunningham, and we can check the roster or resend your access.

Do I need to set anything up? ▾

No. Everything is handled by Mr. Cunningham, from grading to class rosters. There is nothing for you to enter or maintain — just sign in.

Do students need to create accounts? ▾

No. Students sign in with their existing school Google accounts, and the site matches each login to your class roster. Nobody gets a new username or password.

Can students see each other's data? ▾

No. Each student sees only their own dashboard. The teacher-facing class overview is never visible to students.

What are FCAs? ▾

FCAs (Focus Correction Areas) are the writing skills flagged on each paper, like thesis or transitions. They are scored and recorded for you, and the dashboard shows the trends by class and by student.

Does this cover all of my class periods? ▾

Yes. Every one of your class periods appears in the overview, with students sorted by period.

What if a grade looks wrong? ▾

Email Mr. Cunningham and it will be corrected. The dashboard reflects any change within a few minutes.

Private by design

Student data stays in the school's Google Workspace and is never shared with third parties. Each student sees only their own work. Parents and guardians can sign in with their email from this page to see their own student's dashboard.

Your two component scores side by side. Toggle "Show as %" to normalize both onto the same 0–100 scale so they're directly comparable.

Positive = your score went up from the previous assignment; negative = it went down. Each label (e.g. A1→A2) shows which two assignments are being compared.
